Beautiful Losers

Well, they're not very beautiful, but they are definitely losers. I could not give a shit less about the passion - DIY 'art' fucking sucks.

Pretty touching explanations delivered by the artists. I felt the passion. Great work.

An interesting look into DIY art and whatnot, painting a picture of these people who are truly passionate about their art. The movie moves along at a good pace and tells its story well. Me being a Korine fanboy, I could just listen to him talk all day so on a personal note... NEEDS MOAR HARMONY KORINE.

Not bad, as a review of a clique of artists from a certain time, but doesn't really get at a much deeper ethos for doing art than "it is my refuge" or "i have to" or "i like seeing people connect to my art". It'd be nice to see a documentary delve into *why* humans as artists find such refuge in these things.
