Delivers a consistent stream of laughs. (Huh huh, "stream.") Damn, it's good to have the boys back.

Just insanely happy to see these morons back. When they approach the Gender Studies class I was like, "oh here we go," and the ensuing white privilege gag cracked me up. But elsewhere, this is a really funny film. If you like Beavis and Butt-Head, this is going to hit home. Like good Beavis and Butt-Head material, the stupidity is insanely clever... how Judge sends up various issues through these idiots is masterful. This will be one of the funniest movies of the year, if not THE funni

It felt like the whole story-arc was set up for the single great gag about white privilege. The 90s characters set in contemporary society had so much potential for critiquing the modern culture wars, which was masterfully discarded for jokes about the Johnson Centre, and it is all the better for it! The cathartic residue is that The Great Cornholio remains untainted by the modern world.

While much better than 'Do America' this still feels a slightly wasted opportunity as there was a lot of potential for social commentary and laughs when B&B are transported from the 90s into present day. Instead we effectively got another roadtrip manhunt like 'Do America'. Still very juvenile and funny in parts though.

Having just watched this an hour ago I can probably still quote more lines and bits from “Do America,” so that will likely continue to be the more classic movie. But that said this did make me laugh, out loud and everything, several times. And seeing as I can sit through like fifty consecutive hours of 2020s Hollywood film and TV “comedy” with a stone face to rival the Easter Island statues, that is by default noteworthy.

I've always loved the way that Beavis and Butt-Head reflect the least charitable corners of Mike Judge's skeptical mind. Here, we see humanity's decay in its futile attempts to use compassion, decency, and sentimentality on people who have no appreciation or understanding of such concepts. You can't help but laugh at the film's juvenile hijinks, which are blunt yet effective tools for Judge to criticize a selfish, underachieving, and banal society. Heh heh, "anal."

It's a little less than "Do America", in the sense that it feels more like a bigger episode of the TV show than a movie. But, is that a bad thing? No. It isn't. I always welcome a huge hit of nostalgia like this that is also actually good. I honed my Beavis AND Butt-Head impression on the schoolyard 25 years ago, and I was able to break it out again today. My partner did not like being called a fartknocker.

An earnest return for the duo, sticking to the simplemindedness of the original series and movie. However, like the original movie, it gets tiresome as it doesn't find its cinematic feature film footing, and becomes dull at times, even when showing scenes of great humour in a modern context (the white privilege scene taking what should be a stale joke and going at it through a smart angle). Nice to see there's still no growth or characterisation with this hopeless comedy duo.

It’s always nice to see Judge just still has it. Funny, stupid and brisk. Really everything you want from B&BH. Even manages to go over well tread comedy points for hacks (modern college life and “SJW” things like white privilege) in a fresh and silly way. I’m a simple man. I see Beavis get hit in the nuts I laugh.

This is one of the worst films of 2022. Only the first twenty minutes or so are funny. The rest of the film is a dead zone.

Pretty funny when our central duo are on-screen. Pretty unfunny when it’s a scene they’re not in that’s trying to do some satire or something.

I'm notching this just below "Do America", because I don't imagine it'll have the same staying power. I think in ten years, I'd still rather watch "Do America". BUT. This is a happy-place movie. It just makes me smile. It's funny, it's topical, and Mike Judge has still got his fastball even after decades away from doing this. I'm so happy for Smart Beavis, he truly deserves this great honour. Better luck next time, regular Beavis. I will take all the B&B content that Judge wants to put out.

You'd think this was a bad idea but the movie is actually quite funny and on point considering modern day social topics. So many things could have gone horribly wrong porting these 90s relics to 2022, but it cleverly avoids all of these pitfalls to make a, yes, very juvenile but entertaining adventure.

It's ceaselessly impressive that another B&B movie made after all these years succeeds in reviving almost every single aspect of a series that ended a quarter of a century ago (understandably, only the clips from early-nineties MTV are missing). Who is the target audience, one wonders? Those too young to totally get it, or those too old to thoroughly enjoy it? Either way, I respect the sheer gall.

This was a nostalgia kick for me. Still, it felt somewhat average for a lot of it (on its own b&b scale ofc). Enjoyed moments and didn't really expect a lot, but it wasn't quite what I'd hoped overall. 6.4 for me. Worth a watch for fans, but nothing worth ever rewatching.

It's a standard, but welcome, B&B affair. Judge knows these guys don't work for long stretches of time in one place, so he puts them in another situation, and then another. Just when the stupidity is getting dull, another equally stupid angle is introduced, keeping the moron train chugging and the laughs coming. Heh, coming.
