I found Because of Him (1946) to be a amusing film. Perhaps not the best one for Deanna Durbin particularly, but a combination of things, like Charles Laughton basically being himself, a wonderfully hammy actor and charming Franchot Tone upping his game, made for a nice mix. Particularly the scenes where Laughton had to react to Durbin's mischief, being as gentlemanly as he possibly could about it.
