Bedoune Tarikh, Bedoune Emza

Diet Asghar Farhadi. Hot topics like circumstance and responsibility are explored and unraveled, but the overly-ascetic execution holds it all back, further dulled by very little cinematic prowess with ordinary realist camerawork and muted color scheme. Some of the plot-points that get unearthed (literally) are intriguing, but just not enough for what is a boring film with a boring protagonist. The use of a dead boy's corpse in a materialistic fashion reminded me of the overrated Son of Saul.

Filmin ilk yarısı pek ağır geçiyor. İkinci yarıda biraz daha canlanıyor ve esas konuyu anlıyoruz. Vicdani muhakemeler insanı düşündürse de (bence) her şey açık olduğu için çok etkilenmedim, doktoru tamamen (ambulansı çağırmadı evet ama kliniğe gitmelerini söyledi ve para verdi) suçsuz buldum. Filme dair fikrimi olumlu anlamda değiştiren şeyler de o son replik ve oyunculuklar.
