Seems interested in both conveying valuable information &, like much activism, making gays feel good about themselves at the time. So we get some interviewees asserting some highly improbable things like 50% of everyone is gay & a WW2 WAC battalion was 80% lesbian. Despite this, the rest is important & illuminating as it offers a picture of the various ways some extremely brave gays started to fight back in a society that genuinely & generally viewed them with contempt w/ laws meant to oppress.
