Behind the Curve

If you'll take notice, lots of cat owners. From what I could tell the only dog in the film was a statue in a public place, really just an incidental inclusion. Guess I'm as dog person now

It'd be real easy to just laugh at these misguided souls. But the documentarians thankfully have the nuance to respect the flat earthers as people, laughing at their misguided ideas instead of the people themselves. That allows for a really interesting and insightful look into the phenomenon and perhaps a way forward from the anti-science strain taking hold across the world.

The best part is when the Flat Earthers accidentally prove the Earth is round by trying to prove that it's flat. You can't write this shit.

About twice the length it should be, definitely in need of an editor so in the end it felt a little flat

Nothing that exceeds expectations but an interesting insight into some egotistical evangelistic flat earth dummies.

Watchable but extremely one-sided. Mark Sargent, the primary focus, is not only a man with crazy beliefs but also something of a narcissist – numerous times through the film he talks about himself along the lines of "I'm not a celebrity, but…" There are clearly some more rational and articulate ‘flat Earthers' but they are relegated to the background.

I did not had much expectations when picking up this one. I was pleasantly surprised with it.

I watched this and then questioned if I had watched it. I ran a few experiments and I concluded I had actually watched it. Science won.
