I have a bias against this movie because I was told off in the middle of it by a girl that I severely hate. I know it's probably an awesome movie, but every time I think of it, all I think about is that girl's snarky attitude.

Solid, well acted, although it tends to drag in parts.

Powerful holocaust drama succeeds mightily thanks to intense performances by a terrific cast (especially Owen and Bluteau), and a scene stealing cameo by Jagger (his performance of theme STREETS OF BERLIN is also remarkable). Screenplay is perhaps a little narrow when it comes to the larger context of the holocaust, and occasional stagey speeches feel a bit awkward, but this does not harm the overall impact of the at times devastating drama.

i would suggest not watching this unless you can deal with a whole faceful of gay. this movie seems to use the characters sexual orientation for a shock factor, i dont really know if i agree with that. but fuck it, MICK JAGGER IS IN DRAG.

I have a feeling the original staged version is better then this piece of crap. On the other hand, way too many eye-candy to name.

This is a story about human depravity in different forms. Mostly a movie about Nazi atrocities, but there is little to take away from this mostly pointless story, other than pointing out that people will do almost anything when their lives are at stake. Most of it just drags along, and it is frequently tedious. The uncomfortable bits are the best part. The ending is counter to the build up and disappointing.

Good photography but far too unsubtle.
