Berkeley in the Sixties

Compelling early on, when it deals with the Free Speech Movement, but just when things get cooking the film loses focus and doesn't track very well the disparate threads and the increasing polarization among the faction. It comes together somewhat towards the end when dealing with the Peoples Park, but most of the summing up observations are obvious, and retrospectively quite naive (cf. all the assertions that never again will the United States exert military power in an imperialistic manner).
