Bert Stern: Original Madman

Engaging enough documentary is worthwhile as a showcase for some of Stern's stunning photography, and his insights into some behind-the-scenes moments with his subjects (especially Monroe) are valuable, but it does lean into the hoary old trope of the "artistic temperament" as an excuse for bad behaviour, meaning the portraits of some of the women in his life (Dorothy Tristain for one) feel a little dishonest, compounded by wife #3 being behind the camera lens! Still a worthy endeavour.
