Transcends any objective barometer of quality, so is a worthy sequel-in-spirit to The Room. But this does one better than The Room: it creates a meta- hypercube of The Room - the film and its legacy - that recursively cannibalizes on its own existence. Did I mention Wiseau plays a high heel-wearing mortician who wears a mask of Sestero and may or may not be a necrophiliac who once dated the Black Dahlia? Sestero imagines his life (with Wiseau) as a hellish purgatory - a Room with no end or exit.

(This movie cannot be divorced from the meta-context of The Room.) Tommy Wiseau's quirkiness / dementedness is compelling and his acting has improved SO MUCH since The Room; it's commendable. Were I the producers, I'd have secretly hired a Tommy Wiseau impersonator to redo some of his more unintelligible deliveries, which is the biggest problem with his role. Anyway ... you already know whether you want to see this or not but it's not good and I couldn't finish it.

Boring as fck. For a Thriller it is awfully done, do not make me talk about the Comedy.

It's Tommy Wiseau, you'll get exactly what you expect here.

Tommy wiseau has become this irritated child, that indeliberately did something funny and made everyone laugh, liked it, and now goes to increasingly ridiculous lengths to recreate that. Sure, his first attempts might still evoke some giggles, but it'll just become a chore eventually.

The Wiseau Renaissance that came with The Disaster Artist was cute and all, and the Room is still excellent, but this fails miserably. The Room was made with misguided passion, this lacks that. The direction and Sestero are competent, Wiseau is doing Wiseau, it just feels like they thought that would be enough. It feels cheap, just because you're in on the joke doesn't mean it's funny. I understand how it plays with the Wiseau mythos, interest in that is just not sustainable.

A bit like a cross between The Room and The Disaster Artist, except it has none of the charm of either and comes across as a so-bad-it's-bad movie. On top of being so horrendously amateurish, it can't decide on what exact tone to go with, and the acting "talents" of Sestero and Wiseau go to complete waste, making this mutated experiment feel as cold and lifeless as the cadavers that feature in it. All bone and no meat, this is the kind of movie where the poster is better than the movie.
