Movie deals about divorce/dying of love last some ten years or so. The tense and symbols are strong all the way and both actors do they part briliantly. Man is a pig and an egoist. Movie's theatrical output does not bother at all; everything happens inside one flat and there's really just two actors. Some minus points for the very end when riddle was solved; it was not put out as nicely as the rest of the movie. Film could be called as "A letter" as well.

A chamber piece of colossal emotional power (don't judge by the beginning, and watch to the end). This is where I said to myself that Mikhalkov is truly the Russian Cassavetes.
