Except for the opening and ending this goes by a little too fast but it's still some stunning work. Every single frame is amazing and it's a shame we'll never get to see it in motion, but the reconstruction works very well even if it creates what is probably a very different film than what the original was.

Is it a Film (movie or motion picture)??!

A 30 minute reconstruction like they have done with Tod Browning/Lon Chaney's London After Midnight (1927), using still and title cards to present the story. And it looks amazing! Wonderful and expressive images and a interesting story. However this is NOT the movie.... more just a extended trailer using photos from the production to hype the film. And therefore I feel uncomfortable giving it any notable rating. BUT if this movie should pop up out of nowhere, I'm sure it's a top tire movie!
