the fight scenes feel a bit wasted in the middle of many uninspired "teacher makes sad delinquent kids good students through being cool"

I really really really loved this movie. Donnie does some of the best acting of his career here and you can tell he had a blast making the film. At times it does feel like this is a condensed version of a TV Series but even so I was invested. There are two fight scenes in the film the first one fits into the movie but the second one not so much. Don't get me wrong both fight are pretty damn awesome and feature some brutal hits and Donnie's character is more human than most of his other roles.
