Big Buck Bunny

The second free film from the Blender Foundation is competent but uninspired. The animation and score are excellent. It's well directed and shot, though it has some pacing issues at the beginning. It's biggest problem is how mundane it is; CGI funny animals have been beaten to death by Dreamworks and the like. There's absolutely nothing new here, so it is exceedingly forgettable and even boring. Perhaps, then, it succeeds as a tech demo, but it does not fully succeed as a film.

It's ok, but this cute animal 3D cgi trend started to get on my nerves. You have all the tools man, come on, work it.

Very funny and evil humour, great characters! But the payback, however, is more like Rambo not Predator!^^ Very good for an open movie project, with the movie and all production files available under a public license.
