Ok but a bit too much like the re-telling of an investigation.

[Distant] Another interesting journey with NB. The feuds just all seemed so pointless, that fake-it 'till you make-it bullshit is shown to work like the monkey's paw.

Broomfield has a weird way of comprising an entire documentary out of the struggle to get it made. On the one hand, it's a candid way of tapping into the truth of the story. On the other hand, I'd much rather him simply keep focused on the story itself by whatever means necessary. His informal, unposed approach is refreshing in a frank, outspoken way, but things get so muddled through the frustrations of his investigations that I'm still fuzzy on key details of the East Coast-West Coast feud.
