A lot of people call this "clean" standup but it really isn't. While Bill doesn't swear beyond saying "asshole" once he does go into detail about drunkeness. With that said it's nowhere near the awful raunchiness of a lot of more modern comics and does serve as a reminded that you don't need to be filthy to be absolutely hilarious.

This is not even Cosby's best stand up work which tells you how good he is at what he does. It simple and honest and seems very real.

A tremendously funny movie that showcases Cosby's stand up talent to the max. Highly recommended.

Bill Cosby still does bits from this routine now to sold out crowds. The material really is that good. This comedy works in 1980, 2080, or 180 BC.

It's Louis C.K.'s favorite special, and it's easy to tell why.

Definitely not my cup of tea. You'll think this was pretty edgy if you enjoyed his sitcom though.

Sure, it's just a stand up routine, but of the highest order. This is what Cosby used to launch The Cosby Show, but it is funnier than that show ever was.

Clean stand-up comedy, mostly about raising kids and what not. Can't say anything bad or good about it, overall - forgettable.

One of the few opportunities to watch a Bill Cosby stand-up from the comfort of your own living room, it's clear to see from this why he is considered such a polished comedian. His delivery is patient, thoughtful and always of a high quality, consistently hitting punchlines. My only gripe is that too much of the show is devoted to his family, considering the drinking & dentist observations are arguably the best bits. Definitely worth a watch but would I choose to see it again? Probably not.

One of the greatest standup acts of all time. Shame about him being a serial rapist.

This may seem reactionary, and it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But also accurate.
