As someone with an unhealthy love for the first two movies, this was a fun reunion with old friends. It can't quite match the hilarity or zaniness of its predecessors, but it has enough creative juice to make it a worthy addition (conclusion?) to the franchise.

I've patiently been waiting for a third Bill & Ted movie for over a decade now and I'm honestly just happy that it got made. Admittedly, this is twenty five years late and not as good as the first two, but it's still Bill & Ted, and none of the magic is gone. If Bill & Ted want to party on for another couple dozen movies, I'll be with them for every one.

Laughed a bunch of times at the beginning, but then only on occasion throughout. So maybe it's not the funniest comedy of the year but these guys have such good chemistry (so do their kids) and are such lovable doofuses that it ends up being a very genuine and touching movie. Plus, time travel is easier to get away with in comedy because the logistics of it matters less. So while it doesn't reach extreme heights, it's still entertaining enough with enough pros to be a very good flick.

If you're happy to see both Bill and Ted together trying to recapture the attitude they had in the first two movies, they sort of half-succeed at doing it, despite feeling a little awkward at them being way older now. There are some good jokes that land, but its pretty much close to impossible to recreate the magic of the first two films if you ask me. There are cool references that old fans will appreciate. It's definitely my least favourite of the three, but it could have been much worse.

God damn this was stupid. Of course, Bill and Ted uniting the world with their music is retconned out of existence so their (obnoxious clone) daughters can be the chosen ones who don't just unite humanity but SAVE ALL OF TIME AND SPACE. Not only that, it commits the unforgivable crime of being wretchedly unfunny. This flick made me slightly chuckle a grand total of one time during its dreadful 90 minutes. Keanu looks like he's embarrassed to be there. Totally non-triumphant, dudes.

I would put it on fairly even footing with the second movie - clever enough, but with some dry stretches, particularly in the first half. Definitely picks up once they get to hell. Less quotable than the first one for sure, but I did like Kevin the robot. Finale was cheesy but enjoyable enough.

Bill & Ted 3 amounts to exactly what you expect. No more, no less. The humor comes off as corny and goofy but with Matheson & Solomon's trademark cleverness. More than anything, the film has heart. Don't expect it to unite the cosmos in real life, but if you enjoyed the first two movies, you'll have a lot of fun with this one too.

A most excellent addition to the franchise and a welcome one at that. The casting of Samara and Brigette could not have been better and their chemistry is as infectious as their on-screen dads.

This is another fun installment to the Bill and Ted movies. There are plenty of funny scenes and moments in this movie. The cast all seem to be having a blast with the material. Overall I would recommend this fun comedy.

A wonderful and suitable continuation, a total blast and pure fanservice without ever coming off as tryhard. Lots of great performances and a healthy batch of excellent jokes. Perfect ending. Only bogus part was wishing Anthony Carrington had had more to do.

The difference between this and Dumb & Dumber To is that it didn't feel weird when Reeves & Winter played older versions of their characters. Maybe it's because one of the characters wasn't trying to have sex with the other's daughter. Anyhoo, this was a pleasant film, and in 2020, that actually makes it the best film of the year.

Plot-wise, it's an absolute mess just like the previous Bill & Ted movies, but as a joyous piece of weirdness it kinda works. Everyone works to make it fun, apart from Keanu who seems constantly constipated throughout.

Takes a minute to get warmed up, but it's alright by the time William Sadler shows up. After that, it's very good. You're more likely to get William Sadler doing naked karate than comedy, so treasure it when it happens. He's just the best.

It's certainly not as good as the original, but it was never going to be. The first 15 minutes are worryingly rough, but things do pick up soon & once they do it's a really fun ride. The plot is questionable at times, the daughter characters don't have a lot to them, & there are more than a few unnecessary elements (Dennis was particularly confusing) but the whole thing is saved by the performances & the timely message it's trying to get across. I wouldn't call it excellent, but it's enjoyable.

Recycles old ideas with some new ones. Winter falls right back into his role with relative ease while Reeves often looks uncertain. Their dopey daughters weren't a bad idea, and the actresses have good chemistry, but they were handed third rate material, and even Sadler's return just played like fan service. Moreover, the final song isn't a patch on the one that ended Bogus, and Parisot's ability to stage gags is clearly inferior to his predecessors. Pacing is also off'.

Bill & Ted Face the Music improves the effects, raises the stakes & delivers the goofiness expected from the franchise. While the plot is derivative of the previous 2 films, it also feels more calculated in how each character is perceived; noticeable but not detrimental, just a little disappointing. Winter fits straight back into his role, while Reeves seems too old. Lundy-Paine is great. Weaving never escaped the Gillian Jacobs impression I felt she was doing. Overall it's light, engaging fun.

Such a great nostalgic ride. I love these characters. It's just so good to be pulled back into this world that we've all sort of grown up watching. There's some issues though. What 55-year-old still talks like this? And there's a giant bootstrap paradox here that makes zero sense. If they don't write the song RIGHT NOW, then the world is going to END!..but..if they have to force them to do it, then doesn't that literally mean they wouldn't have naturally written it and the future wouldn't exist?

The weakest film of a surprisingly consistent trilogy, Face the Music is still an excellently fun time. It's held back slightly by the fact that none of the new characters - the daughters most egregiously - get the time to really fill in their characters (unlike, say, Death's character in Bogus Journey). In fact, Bill & Ted barely get their time to shine in this ambitious, epic, wacky ride stuffed into 90 minutes. Still, from what we do get, the characters are as enjoyable and endearing as ever.

When I heard that, after almost 30 years, a third Bill and Ted adventure was coming, to be honest, it made me rethink life for about 10 seconds. Life is too short for egos and pickiness. The sappy ending was too much for me (especially that product placement) but there was quite a bit of funny, weird stuff. The low budget results in effects that are alternately amusing and bland. Winter still brings the character to life but something definitely seems amiss with Reeves.

I haven't seen the originals to compare and whatever, but this was a slog to get through, with funny moments few and far between. Most characters aren't funny (Bill and Ted included!), but at least we have Death and Dennis the robot. A lot of time-travel and alternative timelines are thrown in for no reason, and they are rarely fun (Bill and Ted talking to their future selves was funny -- their post-credits sequence was not).

Was sucked in by the hype for this movie which may be the reason it was such a disappointment. I adore the original, but I'm lukewarm on Bogus and FtM is sadly around the level of the latter. Lundy-Paine is the standout with her subtle but spot on Keanu Ted impression, but there's something just a bit off with how Alex and Keanu themselves play their older characters. There's a lot of little references for the fans which are fun, but the plot and ending are weak and overall I hoped for more.

This works more as an idea than anything else. The film feels like an unfinished first draft and has a tacked-on underwhelming ending. It was like Alex Winter & Keanu Reeves finally decided to just put the music out because they weren't getting any younger and they had nothing to lose.

It feels like the movie does a decent job at capturing the old characters. However, having said that it is a vastly different experience to watch to middle-aged men act dumb as opposed to two teenagers (from the old movies). As such, it felt more like Dumb and Dumber than Bill and Ted. And, sadly, the soundtrack felt like it was lacking a bit... Overall, not a great experience.

Ever wonder what a supergroup of Hendrix, Mozart, Louis Armstrong and a slew of other iconic historical musicians might produce? Turns out you basically just wind up with The Darkness. And I don't mean any offence to The Darkness, or Jesus (guest cowbell), or Mozart et al., but I honestly thought that the greatest song ever written (designed to unite all space and time) was, whilst perceivably triumphant, actually most heinous.

More-of-the-same charmless, leaden nonsense which will no doubt appeal more in proportion to your affection for the earlier entries. Awkward, clumsy performances by the leads (Reeves looks particularly uncomfortable here) and marked by the standard, heavy handed overly exaggerated "dumb" humour which is this series' hallmark. A struggle to get through if you're not a fan, but it clearly has its share of supporters!

It has been a while since I saw the original movies as I didn't end up rewatching them before this. That being said, I still remembered enough to have fun with this movie. Obviously age gets in the way a little, but them being man-children helps solve that a bit, and the daughters make up for the rest. Although I would say that Samara Weaving didn't feel cast right to me, and didn't perform as well as the other daughter, which was unfortunate.

Not a bad return for the duo. There are some fun moments when they face off against their future selves. Brigette Lundy-Paine is excellent as Ted's daughter. Anthony Carrigan provides some unexpected laughs. Death's return is a good one. Aside from that though, it's not as good as it could have been and feels too directionless often.

A satisfying conclusion to the Bill and Ted Trilogy that even slightly exceeded my expectations. Stand-outs were Samara Weaving and Brigitte Lundy-Paine as the two daughters as well as the dead-pan comedic delivery from Kid Cudi. This was clearly made from a place of love and reverence for these characters rather than a just another greedy attempt to milk money out of intellectual property from the 80s.

Am I the only one who thinks 'That Which Binds Us Through Time - The Chemical, Physical and Biological Nature of Love and the Exploration of Meaning Pt 1' kind of slaps? It was way better than the song that saved the day. The Kid Cudi stuff was kind of cringey and the movie felt a decent bit longer than it actually was, but this is probably the only film ever made in which Jesus plays the cowbell, so that has to count for something. The robot made me laugh more than anything else in the film.

Oh dear. I remember the original 2 films fondly, from when I was a kid/adolescent in the 90s. It was certainly amusing seeing the two original actors go back to their iconic roles, as if over/about 30 years hasn't passed since the last Bill and Ted film was out. I like the message behind the film but it is certainly very cheesy and quirky. The plot is a bit thin, though it had potential but I didn't find it memorable and I certainly wouldn't say its better than the first 2 films.

I’m shocked at the number of modest, middling reviews this has had – FTM is an awful film no matter what rose-tinted specs you’re wearing. The first half is cheap and shitty but you stick around hoping it’ll improve at some point: it gets worse, with the final third so increasingly lazy you’re just fed up and desperate for it all to end. Most 90-min films have had loads edited out – here it feels like scenes were stretched to reach the target. WTF anyone was thinking making this I have no idea.
