Billy the Kid Returns

Very basic and very generic and not a much fun.

Roy Rogers is a dead-ringer of the dead Billy the Kid, and through the authorities goes undercover as the young rebel to fool some local bad men. The songs was not that prominent here even if both Rogers and Smiley Burnette get their mic-time. The story was okay though even if there was something lacking in the presentation to make it anything more then the singing cowboy movie of the month from Republic Pictures.
