Relationships can be draining! A lovelorn paramedic rescues a woman left for dead after a deadly assault. When she refuses to go to the hospital, he takes her in, nurses her back to health and soon falls in love with her. Before long the mysterious woman suffers withdrawal symptoms, leaving the paramedic to believe his newfound love is a drug addict. has some undoubtedly offbeat humor and some decent romance, but for the majority i was in awe at jason mewes playing someone other than jay...and not badly at that.

Though it has a few moments, it's largely exactly what you'd expect it to be- a pretty bad movie that's trying too hard to be a so-bad-it's-funny movie. Though the cast does a decent job with what they've got to work with, they aren't able to save the script. Marred by some truly atrocious dialogue and awkward scenes, on top of a very repetitive plot that gets old quick and somehow drags on too long, it feels like something a 15 year old would write. Not great- but not totally awful.

Movie with a "vampire in love" where the vampire actually kills people. Nice change of pace from some of the recent friendly neighborhood vampires that have hit Hollywood. Also, bonus points for incorporating a Barney (yes, as in the singing purple dinosaur) song knto the task of hiding one of the vampire's victims.

The acting's a little weak, and the script is sort of highschool, but the film is sexy, sexy, and it's got something, something vampiric. I like it better than probably about on par with Twighlight, definitely better than New Moon, worse than Underworld.
