Black Angel

I love me some location shooting and practical effects in fantasy movies, so I was predisposed to love this, but the story is half-baked and, even at only 25 minutes, it kinda drags.

So this is the movie George Lucas stole slow motion from? The location is great and the black knight's armor is some serious end-game loot with obviously high PvP stats, but overall, when a short starts feeling long, you've failed as a short-maker. Needed more cowbell.

Well shot with some nice locations, but ultimately not much happens.

Just looking over his ouevre, I'm having these dirty thoughts about becoming a Roger Christian completist. Look at that I've already downloaded his first three films without being aware. And I'd have to finally finish Battlefield Earth. What about this movie you say? Well, it is very cheesy. Would have been a better documentary with just shots of the moors set to music, without the hammy fantasy porn.
