How many titles can one movie have? Mr. Canton and Lady Rose, Tokyo Godfather, Miracles, and now Black Dragon? Anyway, I like this movie.

This was a lot longer than it needed to be. The plot got a bit convoluted at times. I initially wasn't sure why they kept going back to the rose lady. I also thought the singer was her daughter. Not sure what's going on with the police inspector for most of the film. Fav scene: fighting at the cafe with the spiral staircase and the usual Jackie Chan play with props like chairs.

Its really charming and silly but its also really long with so much going on that it gets confusing. More comedy than action. The rope factory fight was classic jackie chan.

A little long on the story, but the action was as awesome as you'd expect from a Jackie Chan movie. Especially that fantastic set piece at the end.

While the music is a bit distracting and the action in "Miracles" is infrequent, the stunts are classic Chan, and the funny characters and their heartwarming story makes for a not too shabby homage to Western cinema; a fine moment in Jackie's directorial career.

Viewed December 3, 2020. It's much longer than it needs to be, but the rope factory scene is possibly Jackie's best fight ever, and the other three big fight scenes are nearly as good.

ackie as an accidental 1930s gangster boss. Based on Capra's A Pocketful of Miracles, this mostly is a farce about deception and mistaken identity. These misunderstandings were pretty amusing, but I feel some jokes were lost in translation cause they seem to be about the difference between Mandarin and Cantonese. Of course there are also some stunts thrown in cause this is after all a Jackie Chan movie, the best is an amazing sequence in a rope factory.

Plot was pretty bad and the audio for the version I watched was horrendous. The Jackie Chan action at least brings it up a little, but it was a bit of a slog to get through.
