Black Joy

I liked the different perspective of the black experience in the UK, with a new immigrant sort of like Coming to America. Ben is so frustratingly naive it was tough to see others take advantage of him. The conman Dave King is a Lando-like foil. The happy ending seemed unlikely. Fav scene: Dave taking Ben on his "classes" including a ten-pence peepshow and a very disappointed older prostitute.
