Blessed

For better and for worse, it exists squarely in the world of the Super Serious Australian Drama, where life is hard, everything is suffering, and levity is verboten. Kokkinos clearly doesn't have the chops to transcend this miserable milieu, but the plot does have a certain grace, and there are some good scenes, so it ended up being much better than it could have been.
