Twisted and macabre, Japanese cult film director Teruo Ishii's final oeuvre follows a dime-novel writer on a bizarre journey that involves a misshapen dwarf and bodiless limbs. While it technically lives up to its name in that it features both a blind beast character and a killer dwarf, it in no way lives up to the awesomeness that the title promises. Shot on video, poorly paced and the coolest parts look like they were filmed in Teruo Ishii's garage as a set designed almost entirely using old garbage bags. So not without its charms, but mostly a disappointment.
