Blind Date

Great performances by the leads and the concept is...interesting, but it sure dragged. Mind-numbingly boring chit-chat, which probably fed beautifully to the story, but I just couldn't concentrate. The ending was a bit odd and abrupt too. Confused.

Made with so much care, and so much talent in the writing/acting departments, that I can't comprehend just how it managed to leave me so bored. Wavers between feeling like something beautiful is coming together and like you're watching something without direction from minute to minute. It's fairly impressive every step of the way but leaves you feeling confused, underwhelmed and slightly cheated. Pacing and structure are mind-numbing, and the end is a dull thud. Unfittingly unrecommendable.

Excellent. A married couple suffering from inconsolable grief try to salvage their relationship and their lives by role-playing a series of blind dates. The film deals with love, loss and tragedy in a very sensitive and effective manner, playing it light right till the end. AN incerdibly powerful performance, Very highly recommended.
