A poor fictionalization depicting moral decay in China as a consequence of industrialization and the cultural revolution. The acting and dialog are bad and it seems to be blinded by the gas-lighting and ideology of the Chinese government, apparently no one told Li that scummy people with broken moral compasses have been around since there were people. I'm not impressed.
