Blind Sun

Pretty cinematography does little to ameliorate this Camus-heavy art piece that panders to the high art crowd with a cavalcade of winks and nudges. A retelling of The Stranger with the same eye-rollingly confident air of superiority. It's got everything Camus loved--casual sex, irrational main characters, vestiges of Imperial powers in exotic locales and, of course, pointless violence. This is trash, but hey if you like Camus, this is your kind of trash.
