A bit dated, of course, but I really like these guys. Particularly the brlliant faces that Laurel pulls.

Laurel & Hardy are fucking funny. I haven't laughed this hard at a movie in a while

Not everything works and the as a movie it doesn't really work but a lot of the gags are funny and I enjoyed the way things just kept escalating. I watched the 81-minute version.

Legitimately funny gags and scenes worthy of a higher score, but overall, I like other L&H films a little better. I'd say this one's better than many of the films I give a '60' to, though.

I think this one runs out of steam in the last 10 minutes, but it's a great time getting there. Co-written by former silent comedy star Harry Langdon who Laurel was a big fan of.

Here they do it right in Laurel & Hardy's final film through MGM! Letting the boys fiddle around in their own pace doing what they do best. Being stupid. And none of that MGM glitter stuff. The big minus is the length. Under an hour. But one can enjoy the teamwork between them which is great. Every little reaction, every little absurd situation is timed to perfection! The enjoyment depends on how much stupidity you're in the mood for. It's genius stupidity, but it's still face-palming nonsense!
