Blonde Ambition

Don't waste your time. Simpson couldn't be more unfunny if she tried. Luke Wilson keeps the film barely above completely awful. Andy Dick pulls it full-force in the other direction.

This isn't an offensive movie, but everything about this movie plays out in clichés. Characters are thin stereotypes, except maybe rural folk. But I can't figure out who the target demographic is, except for maybe Jessica Simpson fans. It doesn't even have the courtesy to stick to the Hallmark Classic script of relatable small town girl figuring out she's better off in the country instead of evil big city. Fav scene: greeting the Norwegian priests dressed in offensive ethnic garb.

Pretty good, not that great.
