Blood Car

I suppose for those of us who relate shoestring budgets to quaintness, Blood Car is a veritable fount of quaintitude. Fun for the first 10 minutes until you realize the world of the future is populated by about 8 guys from the local community college.

Weird how all those agents were in their 20s, huh?

Underrated allegorical tale set way in the future (2 weeks or so) about our insatiable need for oil. Very funny dark humor, great bloody gags and amusingly crude one-liners. Meat stand girl is pretty, but Anna Clumsky... where have you been hiding? Classical musical score is also a nice touch to such an over-the-top movie. Best Troma-like movie NOT made by Troma.

Good no-budget film. Despite being relatively short, it does begin to feel a little long as it runs out of new 'gags' about two thirds through. Great ending, though.

Despite the low/no budget, the first half is pretty amusing. Some twisted fun and amusing sleaze. Becomes kinda repetitive in the second half, which is a shame. Fun ending though.

Fun little Z-grade comedy/horror about a near future world that spawns a car which runs on human blood. Despite the few good gags or the funny odd moment, the film grows really thin at times during what can feel like a long 76 minute movie.

Not even worth seeing for Anna Chlumsky, who despite being relatively alluring if you saw My Girl as a child, hasn't aged that well.

It started out as a funny comedy horror, one of those so bad its funny kind of movies. Then the classical music playing throughout along with the long boring stretches of nothing really happening kicked in. They introduced these secret agents which i really could have done without. Nothing really happened with the nerdy veggie stand girl that you're hoping gets her man through the entire movie. The ending was pretty funny, just because it was a completely jumbled rediculous mess. no replay value
