Would expect better film from Deepa Mehta. Or i just didn't get the idea. Slight parody elements of Bollywood movies are visible.

Didn't hold my interest what so ever. Kinda like a mix of pretty woman and my big fat "indian" wedding. Also, a wise grandmother who quote shakespeare. Yep.

Neither a parody of Bollywood nor a celebration of the industry, this knock-off of "Pretty Woman" has very little going for it. Stiff acting, poorly choreographed song numbers and a hollow script expectedly add up to zero.
