A fun time. Chances are you've seen this sort of thing many times before. And there's a reason for that, because the mismatched partner formula still works. The ending was a bit weak, though.

As far as canadian films go, this one is pretty professionally done. But that doesn't excuse the plot. Canuksploitation at it's best.

While American viewers may not get much of the Canadian humour behind this little gem, it's still a good buddy cop movie. The acting is weak from some of the supporting actors, but the story and action are good. Both Huard and Feore are superb. Is I was not Canadian, it might hit a 60 in score as I wouldn't get some of the subtleties and humour.

What would otherwise be another forgettable buddy cop movie sticks in the mind for a while, thanks to the maple syrup running through its veins and the heavily French-Canadian dialogue (littered with wordplay and culture clash jokes). In fact, the lightweight manhunt plot takes a definite back seat to the banter and put-downs employed by the two stars, as well as the silly situations they end up in. I don't know if it has legs as a concept or a franchise, but it was new and refreshing to me.

Funniest movie I've seen in a long time! If you're from Quebec, or even if you've ever heard of the love/hate relationship between Quebec and Ontario, you'll love this movie. It's funny, it has a ton of action, and it's about hockey! What more can you ask for? It feels like this movie has the potential to be the biggest movie out of Quebec ever!

I'm Canadian and this movie is absolutely hilarious. It's got some great action, the main cast have fantastic chemistry and there's some very impressive cinematography in parts. Well worth seeing! If you're the target audience this film is superb, allthough you may not enjoy it as much if you're not Canadian.

This film gets dumb at some parts, but it's certainly a crowd pleaser.

Pretty fun; gets dumb and slow at times. From the deleted scenes I'm glad they cut even more background. I wish they used real names and teams instead of the made up ones.

It gets pretty dumb towards the end, but as a silly mix of comedy and action with a good dose of Canadianness it works pretty well.

I wanted to like this film so much, because it has a Canadian, and specifically a Québec setting, but the 'buddy cop' formula just annoys the heck out of me. I fell in love with barmaid Rita, too.

This is in an incredibly Canadian film, if you don't understand why Rick Mercer doing an impersonation of Don Cherry is hilarious, than a lot of the humour is probably going to fly right over your head. Passable Buddy cop film, made much better by very Canadian humour.

Patronizing and wastes a good chunk of its time making bad French-Anglophone Canadian jokes. Picks up a bit in the end but it's a mess tonally and not worth watching over the hundreds of other crime thrillers.

Fun stuff. The plot is about as Canadian as they get: two officers from neighbouring provinces with sparring ideological beliefs must become buddy-cops when a killer begins systematically eliminating those he feels are "destroying Canada's game" -- all loosely based on real events, like the Gretzky trade, etc. Huard and Feore have terrific chemistry, and this is a surprisingly stylish film. Just one problem: some French characters talk so fast the subtitles are gone before you can read them.

This movie has a bit of everything: action, comedy, drama and plenty of hockey references. Colm Feore and Patrick Huard have a lot of fun with the lead roles. I recommend this fun Canadian action flick.

No, I'm not rating this higher than normal because I'm Canadian.

It is not good, but it is not bad.
