Boogie

I know I’m a sucker for a basketball movie and this is no different. Boogie isn’t particularly unique by any means, but I do enjoy the characters quite a bit here, and there seems to be an attempt to actually dig and give some insight to different ethnics and tradition in a family/sports dynamic. It has something to say, even if it feels kinda surface level. My only complaint is that it really aims for modern day teenage tropes, and does so way too hard. Still, I’m neutral overall.
