Boston Blackie's Chinese Venture

1949 saw a death of many franchise movie series. Among them was Boston Blackie. The ending movie won't be the most memorable. Takes us on a tourist trip down Chinatown where some jewel racket was going on, Sadly they'd replaced George E. Stone with Sid Tomack as Runt, the lovable sidekick of his, so some of that familiarity was gone, and the plot itself moved a little slow, plus the Chinese stereotypes won't go down well today. Blackie was picked-up for TV in 1951, but without Morris.
