I know these things are funny but I just sat there well of course I just sat there who watches movies standing oh no help I’m turning into a bad tired schtick.

I've seen this probably 10 times and I still find it really funny. I always thought the Kids in the Hall TV show was hit or miss, but the movie is mostly all hits.

The Kids in the Hall made this gleeming movie when a gleeming bird hit the guy's head.

Like Monty Python, nothing compared to their TV shows

I'm probably biased because I love Kids in the Hall, but I enjoyed the hell out of this movie.

Maybe it's one of those comedies where you have to be in a certain silly mood (or not multi-tabling on Pokerstars while watching) to really connect with it, but I found this, or at least the 40 minutes I bothered to watch of it, to be painfully unfunny.

Funny in a stupid movie way, but a lot of stuff didn't work for me.

Like so much of the television series, it is largely uneven. Still worth watching for fans of the show.

Uneven but entertaining showcase for the Kids' pitch-black humor.

I find it more enjoyable to watch than actually funny. It's weird and cool and has an interesting color pallette that it works with but isn't as perfectly 90's as Wayne's World which Lorne Michaels produced a few years earlier. Still, compares favorably to most of the other non-Wayne's World, SNL-derived movies from the time period (of which there were many.)

It was like one of their later seasons sketches where they would get all goofy. But not completely funny. Likeable, not loveable.

Bizarre comedy; if you get it you will die laughing.

I love the Kids, but this was a miss.

Loved the show, and I do appreciate the satire of pharmaceutical culture, but it's just really really really dated and not that interesting beyond a rare solid gag here and there.

I enjoyed Kids in the Hall growing up, but I only just now watched the movie. I didn't like it as much as I had hoped. Steaming with mediocrity.

Funny in parts. Creepy in others.

So many great moments in this movie, and yet it just doesn't hold together. I wish so much that it were better than it is.

The Kids In The Hall in a full-length movie? It's worse than it sounds, but it was still a pretty good movie.

Needs a new cut

Charmingly weird (everything you'd expect from Kids in the Hall) but too many dull and unfunny scenes make the movie longer than necessary. Good ending, however.

a sad waste of talent

Kids in the Hall tries so hard to make a sublime movie with jokes, but there's too much plot, and it bogs down the jokes. The fanservice doesn't help, either.

Well, it doesn't really count as an SNL movie, even though Lorne produced it and there was some cast crossover with the KitH in the early 90's seasons, but either way, it was good to watch it, considering I've been seeing so much crap lately that I'd forgotten what good movies were like. I know the troupe had some reservations about how it turned out, but there is a level of depth and intelligence here that you're basically not going to find anywhere else, at least as far as comedy is concerned.

I used to consider this to be a crushing disappointment. But now I realize the original TV show was rather uneven, too.

I wanted to come up with a funny line to write here but I immediately thought of ten. This is one of those movies (like Loaded Weapon) that seems to have an insane amount of off the wall humor for a major motion picture. Two bats and a pig. That's pretty off the wall.

Excellent. These guys are excellent

This is a very weird at times but also a very funny movie. There are a lot of funny and weird characters and the story is simple but effective. Overall if you are a Kids in the Hall fan then you should check out this film.

Had this weird feeling throughout the movie...that it should be funnier and it's somehow my fault.

Drags. I lost interest after about 45 minutes. Luckily, the film is pretty short.

The pacing in this is a little off, but if you like Kids in the Hall you'll probably find this movie and its premise amusing.

As a fan of the tv show, I hate this movie. I know what they were trying, but they failed miserably at most and I remember only one funny moment. This is why sketch comedy exists: you cannot stretch a five minute idea into a two hour film.

Like a mediocre episode of the show, which is to say it's pretty good.
