Brand of the Outlaws

What struck me most was how ridiculously difficult it was the capture the brute buffoon that was doing all the crimes. They could have easily eliminated him half-way through the film, but for some reason our hero Bob Steele kept his mouth shut and he was allowed to escape again and again because of incompetence. Oh well, it allowed for the entertainment to continue for nearly an hour, but kinda didn't make sense considering how well Steele got along with the sheriff.
