Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason

Nice movie if you're in the mood for a lot of humour.

A crushing disappointment, considering the predecessor is undoubtedly one of the smartest, enjoyable rom-coms ever made. Zellwegger tries hard to recapture the spirit of the original, but she is brought down by a screenplay that is out more than ever to turn Bridget into a moron.

bridget is chubby. bridget is easily embarassed. bridget is crazy. we got that in the first movie. the thai women's prison is kinda cool, though.

Unnecessary sequel. The first half you just get irritated about how irrational, immature and utterly pointless (bit like the movie) all of Bridget actions are. She's really behaving like a raving lunatic and you can't empathise with her one bit. However, for some reason, you do get to like her a bit during the second half of the movie and there are two scenes that are really really funny: the singing in the Thai prison and the fight between Hugh Grant and the one and only 'mister Darcy'.

In a word Awful!

One of my favorite chick lit movies. SUcker for british comedy even if the main characters is American with a crappy accent. Long live Bridget Jones, "Wanton Sex Goddes!"

Not nearly as good as the first one, but decent.

BLEH! and i loved the first film so much. i can't even begin where this went wrong.

Light, comic - and especially good if you've seen the book before!

A good sequel to a good movie, but not much more than that. I found it slightly more melodramatic than the original Bridget Jones, but a tad more funny at times.

Okay, I am a sucker for well-done, British romantic comedies. This is one of them.

Hugh and Colin are very easy on the eye, the movie is reasonably entertaining too!

It just wasn't as funny as the first one. But, to be fair, the book wasn't very funny either.
