A typical light musical affair Dick Powell did during the 1930s. Good fun, but pure formula and lacks something fresh. The actors does their job fine though and this includes fun scenarios like the mooing children's story, Adolphe Menjou as the meddling friend, Joan Blondell being a blond and naturally Powell singing his heart out, including a number with the The Mills Brothers again. Powell fans will enjoy this.
