Brooklyn Castle

Simply marvelous.

A film that demonstrates that good education is not entirely dependent on money and related resources, but dedicated teachers and students who come together as community. Obviously, it's also about chess and the irresistible allure of this ancient game for some, with those who are not completely impassioned with chess never realising all it has to offer.

I did feel for these kids, even though it wasn't an amazing documentary. It makes you watch it till the end and wonder what happened to these kids afterwards.

Left me cold. The insertion of politics irritated me, there's a lack of focus in the filming, it's far too long. I like the idea but I just didn't get it
