I like the film's tone and the way it uses imagery to convey it, but it feels less powerful than it could be.

unlike MÉNILMONTANT, didn't really improve upon second viewing. an okay but rather uninteresting short about a woman apparently reminiscing over something, which is backed up by plenty of (admittedly beautiful) shots of gloomy autumn weather.

The images here are quite a sight to behold, and you can feel the deliberation in the editing, but I don't feel that this amounts to that much more than a pretty little experiment. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's perhaps a little on the romantic side.

Beautiful cinematography and overall very elegant, but it lacks something, i'm not sure what.

Has a similar sad tone as Ménilmontant (by the same director), but its shorter length makes the pace more bearable. Some very lovely images here.

A musical tone poem in montage. A very wet fall day rains around the tearfully bleary and solitary contemplation of a relationship which is no more.
