Buck Privates Come Home

Abbott and Costello's version of 'The Kid' but not as funny or tragic as Chaplin's masterpiece. However, there are are some very funny visual gags and repartee (it's Abbott and Costello after all).

The war is over, so that means Abbott & Costello must update their Buck Privates (1941) with a sequel coming back home. There's some pure comic gold here, but overall it's not their most memorable outing. You can't really go wrong with the duo if you're looking for a little fun, and they do their best to entertain here. Funniest bit for me was Costello waking up from his nap hanging out to dry.
