I'm surprised at some of the scores. While it isn't an easy watch. The movie portrays in a very smart way the isolation and loneliness he's going through, specially because of his self-centeredness. Every meaningless scene and every fade-to-black is the darkness that consumes him. It is meant to brood over, not to tell/show you.

Unexpectedly good. What does it mean to be modern, to be an individual? They usually come at a price of isolation and arrogance, even against one's own relatives. Such detachment brings Ahmet to the edge of nothingness, where he faces "anxiety", which pushes him towards other beings in the world. The maid-woman is the most adorable, the most meaningful thing in this meaningless world. She works and sacrifices herself without questioning, she is like a mother, like God. Definitely a good movie.

bu da zeki'nin iklimleri. biraz kisisel ve bazi diyaloglardaki lirizmin asiriligi, filmin gereksiz uzunlugu bunaltti bi yerde. hem bu konu fazlasiyla islenmisken zeki'nin kattigi bir yorum goremedim.

Film güzel. Oyunculuklar da iyi. (Zeki Demirkubuz'unki bile.) Filmi bu kadar itin götüne sokmakla, bu kadar düşük puan vermekle ne yapmaya çalışıyorsunuz? ^^
