Probably ahead of its time. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels owes everything to this movie. Great twists and I'm a Robert Montgomery fan.

Robert Montgomery & C. Aubrey Smith (!!!???) are male gold diggers! One of them seemed miscast, but C. Aubrey was sure having a wonderful time attracting those ladies! Hardly a great movie, but it's got it's interesting little things like the slightly lesbian Heather Thatcher with a monocle, setting her self apart from most women in MGM glamor films. This is also the only English speaking film Nora Gregor ever did. Cool to note that this film was written by Ivor Novello.
