A rare coming of age Brazilian film that mostly works as an arresting, pop-driven portrait of an era. Marina has a keen eye for time period, as well as when and how to film her characters' pivotal moments, with a distinct sense of framing (zooming in, travelling or panning). Maybe the best teen movie Brazilian cinema never had.
