Call Me Madam

Watching this was tedious at best. Ethel Merman is not a talented singer in my opinion, and I can't see how anyone could rave about her style. The movie was also a chore to watch, as the acting is forced and attitudes are stupid and annoying. The plot is also trite and unconvincing. I was hoping to see a great performance from a singing legend, but instead I was bored into a near comatose stupor. Vera Allen was also tedious and mostly rather unimpressive. The men were much less annoying.
