Ultimate 90's wish fulfillment. The premise is tons of fun, and the characters have their moments. Lloyd is clearly having fun getting to play dress-up throughout the film.

Saw it as kid thought it was okay then so likely it is actually pretty bad.

Good for 90s nostalgia. Not a great movie but entertaining and watchable.

Watched this a lot when I was younger

Lloyd was at the height of his \"crazy white-haired guy\" typecasting at this time, and this inoffensive comedy is a neat little corner case of kid comedy.

Guilty pleasure. It's an average pre-teen wish fulfillment comedy, with a gaggle of kids renting a camp for the summer, basically unsupervised (Lloyd does well as the kooky adult-in-charge). There are issues with the film, of course (several scenes make it feel like a lot got cut; most of the other campers barely get a single line). Yet it (mostly) keeps that fun innocence and adventure of those years just before girls, summer jobs, and that fruit mold on your upper lip.

I based my whole childhood off of this movie.
