Çocuktaki zekaya, olgunluğa bak. Hele "anneme babama dava açıyorum çünkü beni bu kötü dünyaya getirdiler" kısmı. Abicim senaristler, yönetmenler siz aptal mısınız? Bi tane çocukla konuşmadınız mı hayatınızda. Daha kaç kere dicem böyle bir çocuk yokkk bu sizin götünüzden uydurduğunuz bir hayal. Sezercik ile taşak geçip bu filme yüksek verenler sizi de öpüyorum.

Gripping filmmaking blessed with a captivating lead performance by the non-professional child actor. Alas, the ending is somewhat lame - but not enough to undermine the overall power of the film.

Adults Are Useless: The Movie, both within the story and in a meta sense - the child actors carry this while the adults, with one or two exceptions, are a bit on the one-dimensional side. Which may be a point, and doesn't particularly hurt Labaki's pointillist storytelling that's incredibly full of details and asks its questions far more efficiently than the odd courtroom scenes.

The exceptional power of the central story is diminished by the courtroom inserts, which are ultimately unnecessary and give voice to the wrong side of the narrative, but despite them, Zain Al Rafeea is exceptional as our heart and guide into a harrowing world brought to stunning life through the director's vision.

Intense and sobering tale of harrowing poverty is an utter masterpiece, balancing the reality of the gruesome details of the child's travails without ever succumbing to sentimentality or sensationalism. Helped by a well chosen, flawless, mostly non-professional cast, with Rafeea delivering an astonishingly mature, believable (and heartbreaking) performance. Marred slightly by some unconvincing and overly didactic courtroom sequences, which over-explain ideas already successfully dramatised.

Lübnan sinemasından sizleri sarsıcak , sosyal gerçekçi sinema eserlerinden Nadine Labaki nin yönetmenliğinde bir film. 12 yaşında bir çocuğun gözünden mülteci yaşamını izlediğimiz, izleyiciyi üzmeye zorlayan ve sürekli böyle hayatlarda var mı diye kendinize soracağınız bir film. Sizin şikayet ettiğiniz yaşamları hayal edenlerin olduğunu bize kanıtlayan ve cannes film festivalinde 2018 de juri odülünü almış bir film.

It's a bit like City of God, but with less hope. Very well done with great amateur performances.

It is too real as if it were a documentary, greatly helped by superb acting. Yet, it feels too distant for me to sympathize.

Fakirlik ve çalışmak zorunda olan bir çocuğun öyküsü, sığınmacı çocuklu bir kadınla kesişiyor. İki çocuğun hayatta kalma çabası, Saf dram.

As a powerful realistic depiction of the problem, it works. But, as the final 10 minutes sums up, its message of antinatalism is a very problematic middle-class, Western Malthusianism. Look, people of the region only smile when they dream about leaving here for Europe or only with their "white" help! I know that we're in full shit; but emancipation should work locally, not by fleeing somewhere else (or just concentrating on "parasite" families)

Varoş küçük adamların hikayesi. Küçük kız kardeşinin evlenmesine engel olamayan Zain, çareyi evden kaçmakta bulur. Etiyopyalı Yonas ile tanışır. Çocuğu ile barakada yaşanır. Yonas yakalanınca da çocuk yaşında önüne çıkan engelleri aşmaya başlar. Her ne kadar ajitasyonu bol olsa da içinizden acıma duygusu açığa çıkarıyor. Umudunu kaybedenlerin filmi.

Filmen har ett ärende även om den lyckligtvis formulerar sig i slagords- eller Facebookspråk. Bitvis biter handlingen hårt och särskilt de båda gossebarnen övertygar totalt. Men tidvis förlorar handlingen delar av sin trovärdighet och de vuxna skådespelarna har det ofta svårare. Ojämnt alltså och filmen rymmer såväl passager värda betyget 5 som betyget 2. Början är ganska seg. Men fyran är till sist självklar.

Extremely moving film with the most touching performances from the child actors.

Nadine Labaki made this film because it's bad form to wear a hat that says "I'm A Poverty Tourist". Luckily for her the film got enough praise for her to never need to wear one in her lifetime, unfortunately whatever philanthropic aid she intended this film to create has barely happened, like at all. Legitimately one of the worst movies (that I can call a movie) I've ever seen, and I don't think anything can top it, for now. FREDDY GOT FINGERED AND GNFOS ARE BETTER THAN THIS.

Superb masterpiece that touches on hard and harsh subjects without letting go of sensibility and tenderness, making many strong points nonetheless.

Hayatimda gordugum.en iyi cocuk oyuncu yonetimlerinden biri. Film teknik acidan kusursuz olmasa ve yer yer tempo olarak aksasa bile komedi-dram dozajini o kadar iyi ayarliyor ve ajitasyonu o kadar olculu yapiyor ki hayran olmamak imkansiz. Bu kadar populer bir konuyu, bu kadar icerden birinin gozuyle izleyebilmek cok etkileyici.
