Watching Tom Hardy over 100 minutes devolve into the Florida Man. Hilarious disgusting cartoon of a performance, I had to see how far he’d take it, would he shit and piss himself again.

Actually enjoyed it though can understand why people wouldn't. El-P's soundtrack is great, I enjoyed the imagery; it was a lot weirder than I expected. Hardy was... I mean it kinda fit the movie. The bad is that I'm not entirely sure where it went or where it wanted to go and it doesn't explore it's topics in a sufficient way. It's pretty out there so I feel it's worth a watch at the very least.

So so baffling and bad but in that hilarious intriguing way where you spend the whole time trying and failing to decipher the motivations of the main people involved. Some great unintentional comedy but not quite enough for me to think Trank did it on purpose. Hardy looks and acts like a ghoul

A well-made production of a story that did not need to be told. The mental and physical decline of Al Capone was one of the least interesting stories I have seen lately. Despite the lack-luster subject matter, the acting was mostly good. As was the cinematography, sound and music. It was not particularly rewarding other than for the constant expectation of something worthwhile that never actually materialized.

It's mysterious and some of the hallucinations end up being the best part of it. But in the end, it's Hardy making funny voices and shitting himself while his family despairs. In the wise words of Sgt. Lincoln Osiris, "Everybody knows you never go full retard"

Though odd and somewhat disturbing subject matter, the film is well made. Some things about the end of Capone's life that I was unaware. Tom Hardy delivers and excellent performance once again.

Hardy is all there, while the story isn't.

What was this? Totally insane and gross movie about a totally insane and gross man. Nothing redeemable or interesting about this. Nothing to see here beyond the lead performances and a few jaw-droppingly wild scenes. This movie literally shit the bed.
