Le Capitaine Fracasse estreava há 80 anos na França. Olha, cresci assistindo a versão do Ettore Scola em que Vincent Perez e Emanuele Beart serão meus eternos crushs, por mais que eu ame o Gance, o do Scola está sob a pele. OK.RU.

Abel Gance was a visual master. Here he packed scenes full of life to tell the story of Captain Fracasse. I did find the narrative a little uneven, but when things were shaking up the film was a lot of fun, there's no doubting that!
