I see artful beauty here in what some have called misogynistic bullshit. The cinematography is fantastic, and really elevates the work into something special. Besides, it's kinda funny, a little quirky, and at least it's honest. If you could freeze time and do anything you wanted, what would you do? Anyone who says "Not this, never anything like this" is a fucking liar. A compelling short, though I have no desire to watch the feature.

Was probably an idea that didn't need to move past a short. Plus, undressing women without their knowledge or consent is called "assault." Say it with me.

I prefer the feature length film as it handles the subject matter a lot better and all the themes are played out making them better understood. Still fucking hot in the same it's pretty damn creepy.

Still damn good glad they made this into a full movie.

This was better than the film. It had some of my favorite parts, like the character introductions and the frozen cinematography, and the thematic musings somehow make more sense with less context. It's still problematic that he starts undressing women (the answer is yes, it would be wrong and they would hate you), but that definitely works more as a bored/sexual/artistic fantasy than as an actual superpower he abuses. Nice style, nice short.

The short ultimately works better than the feature film that it was later lengthened into, but both are pretty exceptional.

Very stylish and well done little short that swings back and fourth between funny and poetic. I personally think this exploration of sensuality and sexuality is tastefully done, and can't really see what other people call misogynist and sexist here. It's an exploration of the beauty of the human body, no one's being abused, assaulted or molested. I don't see it that way, sorry.

I find it odd that there are two distinct types of reviews for this film: (a) it's creepy or (b) it's art. In fact, it's both. While the narrative is creepy and somewhat exploitative, it is still anchored to artistic aesthetics. We seem to forget that art objectifies. It turns a human being into a thing to be admired. It's an interesting short in all.

Yeah, thought it was kind of cute until that kid froze time and started molesting women at the super-market while some Beethoven plinked away in the background. Creepy, creepy shit. If you don't see how stripping a bunch of women naked without their consent is wrong, I don't really know what to say.

Not once did I imagine its rather gratuitous poster would translate into such a wonderful short. Directed with a witty edge and a visceral style that would make Guy Ritchie proud, Cashback ventures into the complex territory of sexual desire with tasteful candor while simultaneously calling into question the rather foolish misogynistic accusations launched against it.

The feature length version of this is fantastic, but the short comes off as nothing less than brilliant.

An interesting, well-executed short. Not entirely sure how the feature-length version would work, though.

There's an interesting film to be made about how men reconcile their sexual attraction to the female form as on object of lust with their aesthetic appreciation of it as a piece of art. This, unfortunately, isn't that film. I'd hoped the film, short though it was, might comment on or at least recognize the somewhat unsettling nature of its premise, but it did not. The only thing left to appreciate was the nudity.

Well done short that explores sexuality, sensuality and appreciation of the naked human form, and who couldn't appreciate the naked women in this seriously. Plus it's got some hilarious moments with the immature staff. I prefer the short to the full movie made from it, even though I consider both good.

If you've seen the full version of this film, you've seen this one as well. This short one has less of the story and fluffed up parts of a full length movie.
